I would admit this picture derives motivation from Mr Andy Beel - Black and White Pictures.

Posting a Photograph taken from Mr Vijay (my Office Collegue) Nikon D90, I loved the textures of the Woods and the tress in the back ground which comes out even better in Monochrome,

I met my Model - GREEN BACK HERON

 During my trekk last week with my son, I  got a great opportunity to shoot a  bird,  using Nikkor 55-200 MM lense,  some shots I found Interesting and sharing herewith

I went Trekking with my Kid

Last Saturday, my Shreemati Jee was occupied for her class, and during this time I fixed up with my son Aryaman

 to take a chance and go out for a trekking in a nearby Bottle Tree Park ,

With my trekking Bag - Against the White rock

Though barely about 7 years,

My bullock cart ...tic...tic..

EXHAUSTED !!!!

He willingly agreed, even when he knew he has to walk on foot all the way..... and finally at the end of trek when returning......

Ratha yatra, the Festival of Chariot : In Singapore- Photo feature

Ratha yatra, the Festival of Chariot : Chariots of Shri Jagannath is celebrated every year at Puri, the temple town in Orissa, 

The festival being celebrated in Singapore as seen through my Lenses

This commemorates the annual journey of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balarama, and their sister Subhadra to their aunt' s temple,

A glimpse of Lord Jagannatha on the chariot is considered to be very auspicious and saints, poets and scriptures have repeatedly glorified the sanctity of this special festival.

In Singapore it was an occasion to watch so many devoutees gathering to attend the auspicious occasion of Rath yatra being performed at Yishun stadium, The Gathering of people is HUGE as visible in the Picture;

People gathered are Greeting,  Celebrating and Rejoicing the occasion  as can be seen in the other Photographs.
